Sole engineer on 30+ freelance projects - scoping, full-stack builds, production deploys, and maintenance after launch. No handoff layer - I owned each engagement end to end.
Howa
Owned howa.so for Johnson & Johnson - about 500K users on Go and AWS. I built autoscaling for bursty traffic and HIPAA-minded controls - encryption, tight IAM, audit logging - with Redis-backed Go and TypeScript APIs.
Peerplays
As a founding engineer on usetoto, I helped build a civic platform Canadians actually use - Next.js on the front, concurrent Go on AWS Fargate in the back, and Cloudflare at the edge. I spent a lot of time on networking that worked in prod and on Go APIs that stayed responsive when real traffic showed up.
